To love someone, you must first learn to love yourself. You must respect yourself and never doubt your decisions.
You must strengthen your character and make it indestructible so that no one can tear it apart. This is pretty much battle preparation (read: relationship).
You have trained all your life to defend yourself when the time comes to fight. You don't want someone to crush you right from the start.
There's no reason to obsess over the fact that you're single. Most girls are pretty cranky when it comes to being single or not.
Many of them have chosen to be in some relationship (good or bad) better to be as single. They're afraid their fur will swim away and they won't get another chance.
You should make the best of your situation and enjoy your life. Make the most of the time while you're single and party like there's no tomorrow.
Instead of forcing yourself to find someone to be with, devote your time to your friends and your family.
Love your life and be patient. Don't jump into relationships just to fill your emptiness, just to be with someone so you're not alone.
Don't measure your self-esteem by whether you're in a relationship or not. Throw away your insecurities and enjoy just your single life.

Stay single until you meet the person who makes you smile to the point where your cheeks go numb and your eyes light up. Wait for the person who will give you butterflies every time you see them.
Stay single until you find someone who is excited to see you. He won't have any lame excuses to dump you just because he doesn't want to see you or has anything better to do. Because what can be more important than meeting you?
Stay single untilyou meet someone who is proud of you. He will not pass you off as a trophy or a prize won. He'll show you off to his friends or a complete stranger just because he's proud of your accomplishments as if they were his own.
Stay single until you find a person who is mostly in love with your character. This person will love your quirks and flaws because they are the ones that make you unique—which makes your character unique. He will respect the fact that you have your bad days because you are entitled to have them as we all do. He won't expect you to look super happy all the time.
Stay single until you meet someone who spends all their free time with you want. If he doesn't have time, he will make it or just let you into his life. He will share his interests with you and will definitely pay attention to the things that make you happy.
Stay single until you someone find someone who really misses you. This person will call you for no reason just to check on you; not because he's bored, but because he wants to.
Stay single until you meet the person who inspires you and motivates you even more in everything you do. He makes you want more. It gives you the strength and courage to take a step forward.
Stay single until you find someone who actually cares about you. Until then – STAY SINGLE AND DO IT AT THE BEST TIME EVER!
