The series is set in the future, where the world is divided into two parts. The rich are on one side and the poor are on the other. As in Harry Potter, all of the characters in the series will go through an important distribution process. However, whether the hero is rich or poor, in this case it is not the hat that decides, but a strict and painstaking selection called “The Process”. A chance to pass it is given to each person after the age of 20. Only a few, or more precisely, only three percent of all, manage to overcome all the tests within the framework of the “Process” and get a chance for a better life.

“Through the Snow” (2020 – …)
After a man-made disaster, the world is once again plunging into an ice age. The only island of safety in the middle of the permafrost is a giant train with survivors, which rushes non-stop along the trans-Eurasian highway.
Everything here is like in life: adults work, children go to school, and there is even a trendy nightclub in one of the carriages. A strict class hierarchy reigns on the train: from the ruling elite in the first cars to the most disadvantaged at the end. And while the world outside the train remains uninhabitable, a real class war unfolds between the passengers.
The series “Through the Snow” is a remake of the film of the same name by South Korean director Bong Joon Ho, who also directed the Oscar-winning “Parasite”. The full-length movie starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton was released in 2014.

This series in its plot is somewhat reminiscent of the beloved by many “Lost”. A group of teenage girls falls into a mysterious plane crash, after which they find themselves isolated from the outside world on a desert island. The survivors are from different social strata, so very soon conflicts between them begin to flare up in an already stressful environment, which bring discord and divide them into several camps. Each of them keeps in their past a secret related to the tragedy, and very soon it turns out that the girls were in one place for a reason.

“Black Mirror” (2011-2019)
The British anthology series “Black Mirror” has long acquired the status of one of the iconic TV shows of our time and is well known to many. However, if for some reason you haven't watched it yet, then now is the time! Over five seasons, 22 episodes of “Black Mirror” were released (one of which starred Miley Cyrus!) And one interactive special “Black Mirror: Bandashmyg”.

The main feature of the series is that each episode in the plot is not related to the previous one, and the only thing that unites them is a satire on the way of life of modern society. The series is set in the near future, and the leitmotif of “Black Mirror” is the influence of information technology on human relations and life in general. Sometimes what is happening on the screen seems absurd (the same emotions are often visited when watching “The Squid Game”), but exactly until the moment when you realize that such a scenario of events in the future is quite real and therefore even more frightening!
