The 78th Venice Film Festival continues its work. Just a few hours ago, within the framework of the show, the premiere of a new painting by Xavier Giannoli “Lost Illusions” took place, the script of which was based on the famous novel of the same name by Honore de Balzac.
One of the first to evaluate the tape came Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova. The former first racket of the world has been having fun in Italy for several days, but today she appeared on the red carpet for the first time. In front of reporters, Maria appeared in a white translucent dress in the Victorian style. Sharapova arrived in Venice with her fiancé Alexander Gilks, but she paraded along the red carpet in splendid isolation.
TikTok star Xabi Leym was a rather unexpected guest of the premiere. The young man lives in Italy from early childhood and over the past year has become one of the most prominent representatives of his country thanks to numerous videos in which he ridicules useful life hacks of other netizens. Xabi entered the red carpet in a strict black tuxedo, but did not change himself: the young man happily repeated the signature gestures from his popular videos to reporters.
In addition to Xabi, Jessica Wang, Drusilla Gucci, Hofit Golan and other guests of the festival also appeared at the premiere of Lost Illusions that evening.
Also today, within the framework of the festival, the premiere of Michel Franco's “Sunset” took place. She was presented at the show by the director himself, along with the actors who played the main roles in his new drama film: Tim Roth, Charlotte Gainsbourg (she went to journalists in an ultra-short jumpsuit and stocking boots studded with rhinestones) and Iazua Larios. The guests of the premiere were also Eliza Katerina Egger, Ajva Aljudia and others.
