Actor Elliot Page, 34, formerly known as Ellen Page, continues to talk about his transgender transition. Yesterday, he posted a new topless photo, in which he showed an elastic press.
Great, my new phone is working
– the actor joked.
A year ago, Elliot, best known for his role in the movie “Juno”, declared himself a transgender man. He asked to be called Elliot, officially changed his name, cut his hair short, and embarked on a transgender transition with a mastectomy (surgery to remove a breast).

The actor admitted that then he finally began to live in harmony with himself – according to him, from childhood he felt like a boy and wanted to change his gender. But, once in the film industry, he put up with reality and lived like a girl, which turned out to be a serious psychological trauma for him. Even public recognition of homosexuality and marriage to choreographer Emma Portner did not make his existence easier – he continued to feel uncomfortable in his own body.
During the first quarantine, Page realized that he wanted to become a transgender man, and decided to make global changes. Portner, with whom he had already parted at that time, supported him, as did the actor's mother, as well as numerous fans.
They do not stop thanking him for his courage and frankness even now, expressing their admiration in the comments on the social network.
