Fans of the series “Sex and the City” still have a little patience – judging by how actively work is underway on the sequel to the series called “The Story Continues”, its premiere will not be long in coming. New pictures from the filming of the show's reboot appeared on the network, in which Sarah Jessica Parker, Christine Davis and Cynthia Nixon filmed a picnic scene in the park.

The actresses behaved so naturally that it seemed as if they really met in real life to have a heart-to-heart talk. However, it is not difficult for them to play friends: during the work on the series and two films, they became very close and really became friends. Their relationship did not work out except with Kim Cattrall, who was the fourth friend in their company. The actress does not take part in the continuation of the series, but instead a new heroine will appear, played by Nicole Ari Parker.

The stylist of the original series Patricia Field, who was in charge of the outfits of the main characters, did not start working on the new show. And this, according to fans of “Sex”, was a big drawback. The network jokes that Nixon's outfit and tablecloth were sewn from the same fabric.

The continuation of the legendary show will consist of 10 episodes of 30 minutes each. The plot of the series will continue to focus on Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs and Charlotte York, who live in Manhattan and are close friends.

The first footage from the series can already be seen in the new HBO commercial.
