Prince Albert II with children
Today, November 19, is National Day of Monaco. On this occasion, solemn events were held in the principality with the participation of members of the royal family. The focus of attention, of course, was Prince Albert II and his children with Princess Charlene – the twins Gabriella and Jacques. Charlene herself did not take part in the parade.
Some time ago, she was finally able to return to her family from South Africa, where she stayed for almost six months – complications after a previous illness caused by ENT infection did not allow her to fly out earlier. However, she has not yet been able to return to her duties. The other day, the prince said that his wife's condition had worsened, and she was again forced to undergo treatment. In the near future, she will not participate in official events.

After her return, her condition was good, but then it became obvious that it worsened again. For several days she slept poorly and ate little. She lost a lot of weight
– her husband commented on Charlene's condition, noting that the princess is now in the clinic.
The children decided to support their mom and drew touching posters with the words “We miss you mom” in English. Gabriella and Jacques held them in their hands when, together with their father, they watched the solemn parade from the balcony.
The event was also attended by other family members, including Princess Carolina, Princess Stephanie, Charlotte Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo. Among the guests was Gareth Wittstock, the younger brother of Princess Charlene of Monaco.
