Yesterday Pirelli presented its annual calendar. This year, singer Brian Adams was the photographer, and such stars as Cher, Iggy Pop, former lover Elon Musk Grimes, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora and others posed for him.
The calendar was named “On the Road”, which has become very symbolic, because the life of artists is constant travel and tours. Capturing the “special moment” is what Adams wanted to do in this shoot.
When you see this photo story, you understand that this is a day in the life of every artist, a special moment of the day: before or after going on stage, lunch at a restaurant, rest at a hotel during a tour. I filmed each of the characters with the idea of showing just such a special moment, – he shared.
In recent years, the Pirelli calendar has noticeably changed its concept: for a long time its heroes are not models who posed naked, but famous women and men who have achieved success in various fields of activity. The calendar has ditched beauty standards and now seeks to reflect diversity.
