It seems that 39-year-old Natalia Vodianova still has no free time during Fashion Week! After a busy weekend, the model did not take time out, but went to explore new fashion collections.
Today Natalia has already attended two shows – Stella McCartney and Giambattista Valli. Stella McCartney also came to support Demi Moore with her daughter Scout, stepdaughter of US Vice President Ella Ehmhoff, Paris Jackson (she wore the famous top that Stella and Liv Tyler wore at the Met Gala in 1999) and, of course, Stella's father, the legendary musician Paul McCartney. And Elena Perminova also came to appreciate the next dresses of the “flower fairies” of Giambattista Valli.
Stella McCartney was a true pioneer in the world of conscious fashion. For example, she was one of the first to refuse natural fur and leather. So it is not surprising that while other brands are only trying (and sometimes quite awkwardly) to join the eco-agenda, Stella is again one step ahead and is already using the latest materials with might and main. So, in the new collection she presented bags made of “mushroom” leather.
Mushrooms are the future of fashion
– with this teaser McCartney announced the collection.
Vegan mushroom leather is considered the most promising replacement for natural leather. The mycelium is grown in a nutrient medium, then dried and processed – it takes about ten days to produce a material of sufficient size. At the same time, there is no need to use harmful chemicals, and the water consumption is very economical. The novelty has already been appreciated by Vodianova.
So great! Technology is so advanced that it is simply impossible to find the differences,
– wrote Natalia.
To support the theme, the collection also used mushroom prints and textured fabrics that resemble the inside of a mushroom cap. Attention in the collection is also worth paying attention to tight-fitting jumpsuits – we have seen these at Saint Laurent as well.

Giambattista Valli is doing quite well in his comfort zone. Each season, the designer remains faithful to his corporate style and is in no hurry to implement any creative experiments – the proven floral prints for the spring-summer collection are clearly closer to him.
Sheer fabrics, fluffy skirts, color-block mini-dresses, voluminous silhouettes with feathers and delicate shades of pink – Valli has clearly not disappointed his regular customers who expect stability from their beloved brand.
