Antoine Arnault, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Natalia Vodianova
Fashion Week kicked off in Paris yesterday, and today the new Dior collection was presented to the public. The guests of the show were Natalia Vodianova with her husband Antoine Arnault, Rosamund Pike, Deva Cassel, Iris Lowe, May Musk, Chiara Ferragni, Elena Perminova, Jisoo from Blackpink, Alexa Chung, Rachel Brosnahan, transgender model Lane Bloom and others.
This time, Maria Grazia Chiuri, it seems, finally decided to leave her comfort zone with chiffon dresses, gloomy jackets and tapestry skirts (the first attempt was made during a cruise show in Athens) and already at the top of her voice appeal to a new generation of fashionistas. Lovers of fluffy princess dresses can be confused.
From the flashy set designs to the collection itself, filled with crop tops, miniskirts, sporty jackets and prints, everything was designed for those who perceive fashion through posts on Instagram.
By the way, 75-year-old artist Anna Paparatti was in charge of the scenery, and she drew on the aesthetics of the Roman club Piper, founded back in 1965, during her work. The place is famous for its huge dance floor and crazy parties and has always attracted young party-goers.

It seems that approximately this target audience was also kept in mind by Curie when she created the collection. The runway featured neon hues, sparkly disco dresses, leather kits, and vinyl crop tops.
The more formal outfits remain in the collection, but the jackets are now offered in vibrant colors (from green to orange) and must be worn with a 1960s miniskirt. From the same era, the collection includes a-line dresses and short straight-cut coats.
The variegated palette is also supported by large multi-colored jewelry – however, everyone has been wearing such for a long time. Here Curie's voice is clearly drowning in the chorus of already proclaimed (and even slightly annoying) trends. However, given that Dior has already made friends among the fashion icons of Generation Z (remember, for example, Anya Taylor-Joy, who went through major ceremonies and festivals at Dior), many of these looks will definitely go to Instagram and red carpets.
