According to the creator of the project Ryan Murphy, one day he met Lewinsky at a party and told her that her story can only be told by herself and no one else. He also immediately offered to join the number of producers and assured that he would not start work on the series without receiving her approval. Lewinsky agreed. According to her, she really appreciated the opportunity to tell about all well-known events from her side. Therefore, she actively participated in the work on the script and, as the creators of the 10-episode mini-series note, she constantly shared her thoughts, insights and memories with them.

The role of Lewinsky went to 28-year-old Bini Feldstein, who is remembered for the film “Lady Bird”. Clinton is played by Clive Owen, and Hillary Clinton is played by Idi Falco, famous for the series The Sopranos and Sister Jackie. The fashion for rethinking popular plots from the 90s literally overwhelmed us: the famous teenage horror film “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, which once made Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Philip and Freddie Prinze, stars – junior. But in fairness it is worth saying that the plot itself is not even from the 90s, but from the 70s. Not everyone knows that the 1997 tape was based on the book of the same name by the American writer Lois Duncan, written back in 1973.

New

From the looks of it, the Amazon series will follow the original's storyline. Several teenagers run over a man in a car on prom night. They agree to keep a secret, but after a while someone begins to pursue them, which is clearly associated with a tragic accident. In the course of the action, more and more secrets are revealed: it seems that everyone surrounded by heroes has their own skeletons in the closet.

The cast of the project consists entirely of new names: let's see if the series will bring some of the leading actors worldwide fame, as was the case with the actors of the original film.
