Last week, many celebrities from the world of fashion gathered in the capital of Qatar, Doha, where they had a rather rich cultural program. At the end of last week, the Fashion Trust Arabia awards ceremony took place, which we have already talked about, well, followed by guests at the opening of the Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams exhibition. The social event was attended by Natalia Vodianova, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima with her boyfriend Andre Lemmers, May Musk and others.

For the French fashion house, this is the first such major event to be held in the Middle East, so the creative director of the brand, Maria Grazia Chiuri, flew to Doha on this occasion. The exhibition is the most complete retrospective of Dior history and was first shown in Paris in 2017. In Doha, outfits from the personal collection of 62-year-old Sheikh Moza bint Nasser al-Misned, who is a fan of the French brand, also added to the exposition.

Many guests, of course, preferred Dior outfits, such as Natalia Vodianova, who appeared in a gray new look dress, which brought fame to Christian Dior. The day before, together with the children of Neva and Victor, she still managed to visit the exhibition of Virgil Abloh.

But Naomi Campbell this evening decided to support another designer – Pierpaolo Piccioli, who developed a special collection in the tradition of Middle Eastern fashion. And support will clearly not hurt him – many have already attacked Piccioli with criticism for condemning the anti-LGBTQ law in Italy, he immediately began to cooperate with a country where the LGBTQ community cannot feel safe at all.
