Amber Valletta and Kate Moss
Last night, as part of Milan Fashion Week, one of the most unexpected events took place – a joint show of Versace and Fendi. Rumors of such an event appeared a few days before the fashion show, but the official announcement did appear on Instagram a few hours before the start. All the stars of the past and present were gathered on the catwalk again: from the icons of the fashion world of the 1990s, including Naomi Campbell, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Kristen McMenami, to the most popular models of our time in the person of Gigi Hadid, Stella Maxwell, Adut Akech and others. The continuity of generations was symbolized by Kate Moss and her daughter Leela, who both walked the catwalk this evening. Well, the guests of the show were Elizabeth Hurley with her son Damian, Demi Moore, Dua Lipa, Iris Lowe and others.
Kim Jones and Donatella Versace urged not to call this project called Fendace a collaboration, insisting rather that this is a friendly creative experiment. Its essence lies in the fact that two creative directors switched places and presented their views on a different brand. All this once again was to underline the influence that the two Italian brands have on the fashion world.
Donatella Versace presented her take on Fendi, focusing on sparkly dresses, tops and skirts, and pantsuits. The stylistic device that Donatella has just demonstrated in her own collection also migrated to this collection – a combination of baseball caps and silk scarves.
A striking item of the collection is the jacket with the signature Versace print on the outside and the Fendi logo on the lining, and from the details one can note the massive buckles. She allowed herself Versace and a slight self-irony, releasing some models in wigs that imitate her own hairstyle.

Kim Jones, in turn, sang an ode to the Versace era of the 1990s, inviting such models of those years as Kate Moss, Amber Valetta (they, by the way, walked the catwalk together), Kristen McMenami, Shalom Harlow and Karen Elson.

Out of respect, Jones clearly put the impression of Versace archives in the foreground, giving maximum attention to prints and iconic pins, only carefully complementing this row with a pair of lace looks in soft pink. Among the details, the chokers can definitely be called a hit, which successfully combined the Versace brand ornament with the Fendi logo.
