Yesterday, 63-year-old Madonna was a guest on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, where she talked about her documentary Madame X. In the studio, the star appeared in a black mini-dress with a plunging neckline and high-heeled shoes. She complemented the look with tights in a fine mesh, a red satin glove and a black lace mitten.

The singer completed her bow with bright and catchy accessories: a chain and a necklace with crosses, bracelets and rings.
During the show, the star made some unexpected confessions. So, she said that after she began her acting career in Hollywood in 1985, starring in the film “Desperately Seeking Susan”, she began to receive many offers, and some of the roles were very prominent and large. Madonna admitted that she refused to play Catwoman in the movie “Batman Returns”, which was later played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
And although Madonna does not regret many of her decisions, such as, for example, her refusal to play a role in the erotic drama “Showgirls”, she still cannot forgive herself for something.
I turned down my role in The Matrix. Can you believe it? I wanted to commit suicide
– said the star.
What role was offered to the singer, she did not specify, but the main female role, Trinity, was eventually performed by Carrie-Anne Moss.
The film became one of the most successful trilogies in film history, grossing $ 1.3 billion at the box office. The fourth part should be released in December this year.
This is one of the best films ever made. A tiny part of me regrets just one moment in my life
– she said.
The Madame X documentary came out on UK MTV yesterday. The painting is dedicated to Madonna's career and the concert tour of the same name in 2019-2020. For the singer, it turned out to be difficult: she underwent knee surgery, as a result of which she canceled several concerts in the USA, Great Britain and Portugal, and then her tour was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
