Prince William and Kate Middleton with children
Kate Middleton, 39, seems to be striking a balance between her responsibilities as a senior member of the royal family and the time she spends with her kids as a regular mom.
Last week, Kate had several official outings, so over the weekend she allowed herself a well-deserved vacation at the Anmer Hall country estate in Norfolk with her husband Prince William and their children: eight-year-old Prince George, six-year-old Princess Charlotte and three-year-old Prince Louis.

But they chose simple food from the local pub over the dishes from the royal chefs. The whole family was spotted at a table on the lawn, where they ate hamburgers and fries with pleasure.
Prince William recently revealed how much Anmer Hall means to them, located on the grounds adjacent to Queen Sandringham's estate.
William also shared that his late grandfather, Prince Philip, made the place special. So it's not surprising that the family prefers to spend all their free time there.
He was entrusted with managing the estate since 1952. I think that being here was a kind of escape for him. He liked that he was able to make a certain impact here. He planted more than 40 kilometers of hedges, 45 groves, more than two million trees. These things really matter to the surrounding area.
He's not the type to just talk: he loved to do. So he really took an active part in shaping and making decisions about the future of nature here. All of this has made me and Katherine feel like we want to be a part of it, we feel at home here, and it's all thanks to what he created,
– said Prince William in a recent BBC documentary on Prince Philip. Recall that the husband of Queen Elizabeth II passed away in April this year at the age of 99.
