Blake Lively
Yesterday, a gala evening was held at the Empire State Building in New York to mark the lifting of the US travel ban, which had been in effect for more than a year and a half due to the pandemic. All foreign travelers can now come to the country with proof of full coronavirus vaccination.
The guest of honor at the event was 34-year-old Blake Lively. For the release, she chose a red satin Georges Chakra mini dress with a bow and matching shoes.
Blake gave a speech in which she said that she was very happy with the lifting of the ban.
I've never felt more of a New Yorker than I did tonight, so thank you all for giving me that feeling.
– she said.
After the welcome part, a cocktail party was held at the iconic building, and then guests were allowed to climb to the top of the skyscraper to admire the beautiful view.
The actress, putting on a burgundy coat and complementing the image with a multi-colored handbag embroidered with rhinestones, went upstairs, where she took several selfies.
Blake's 45-year-old husband Ryan Reynolds could not keep her company yesterday – he probably stayed at home to look after the three daughters who are raised by the couple. He recently admitted that he is taking a short break from his acting career to focus on his family.
