Australian firefighters have re-presented their traditional calendar for next year. In the pictures, they pose topless with different animals, thereby supporting the initiative to protect them.
In 2022, there will be six different editions of the world famous calendar series. It includes a classic calendar featuring photographs of firefighters posing alone. It will also include four issues dedicated to animals, in which firefighters are captured together with koalas, kittens, ducklings, dogs and other animals. The main novelty of 2022 will be a beach version of the calendar, where firefighters will appear in swim shorts and swimming trunks. As always, the money from the sale of the calendars will go to charity.
This year, Calendar teamed up with US-based Greater Good Charities to support their program to rebuild and renovate shelters for animals and victims of domestic violence.
Collaboration with the American organization is not accidental. It was the US charitable foundations that provided significant assistance in rescuing Australia's animals during wildfires in 2019-2020. Then the flora and fauna of Australia, in particular koalas, suffered greatly and have not recovered until now.
During its existence (and this year it will be released for the 29th time), the calendar has gained great popularity all over the world. Anyone can make themselves a New Year's gift, and at the same time a good deed by ordering it online.
